Scythe-like scenery en route to Seville
Sabbath morning we awoke to a decent breakfast prepared by our British host, complete with baked beans and toast. Of course, we had to deal with the time change from Morocco to Spain, and so lost an hour.
We had to choose between going to church and enjoying nature. Since we are well road-worn (and maybe a little smelly), we elected nature. What a ride! We rode the twisty hills through the Baetic Mountain System to Caminito Del Rey, which apparently is an amazing cliffside hike. I say apparently because tickets are required, and need to be acquired well in advance for this very popular attraction. Research fail on my part. Still, we enjoyed a nice hike before carrying on toward Seville.
The GPS led us down a back road, and we wound our way amongst farm fields and wind turbines. The scene made us both think of Scythe, and we half expected a mech to appear over the next rise.
There was a dark cloud that threatened rain, then made good on that threat in a halfhearted fashion, but we soon left it behind and were blown dry before arriving at our Airbnb on the outskirts of Seville.
