Snow in the Atlas Mountains
Okay, so, do you remember those snow-capped mountains that were on the horizon in a previous post? Do you know how tall they are? We do, because our GPS told us as we rode through them! 2840 m! We went off the beaten track today, and traversed the Atlas Mountains. Where there is snow.
Now, Angela likes the snow, but even she admitted it was a little chilly as the temperature dipped to 9°C. Not that cold, unless you came prepared for warmer weather!
Enjoy the photos below, and accept our apologies that they do not do justice to the awesome, overwhelming beauty that we were blessed to enjoy today.
We ended today’s journey in Zaouiat Ahansal, but that is a story for another time.
