San Bartolomé De La Torre

We got an early start this morning, in part because Portugal switched to daylight savings time last night. A bit of initial confusion, deconflicting the phone and the watch.

A quick shower and breakfast, then we loaded the bikes and took off, winding our way south on smaller and smaller roads until we got to a paved “goat path” that wound through the hilly countryside.

Then, into Spain! My secret weapon deployed alongside my limited Spanish resulted in a decent lunch in San Bartolomé.

Onward to Algeciras!
