Okay, so we did a thing…

What better birthday present can there be than to have our local motorcycle dealership host a Yamaha demo ride day? Michael really wanted to go for another ride on the T7! This ride, like many others, was an escorted group ride, but this time the route included a brief stretch on the highway.

And so, today, after that ride, we finally decided to put down a deposit on two T7s. Yamaha hasn’t announced if there are any changes to the 2022 model, or the MSRP, or even what colours are available, but given these bikes were rare as hen’s teeth last year, we wanted to be at the top of the list for 2022. So, we contacted our favourite dealer back home in Victoria, British Columbia (Action Motorcycles). We explained we weren’t sure when exactly next year we’d be back in Victoria, and so asked that they store the bikes for us if they arrive before we do, which they agreed to. Not sure if this counts as Michael’s birthday present for this year or for next, but either way it’s a pretty good one!
