Well, we hit a speed bump. Just before leaving Ecuador, we both wiped out on a nasty bit of algae covering the road. Angela ended up fracturing her pelvis just days before our Ecuadorian visas were due to expire. Despite our pleading, Ecuador refused to extend our visas, and so we were forced to leave the country. Thankfully, newly-made friends helped transport Angela and her motorcycle to the border with Peru, and here we sit while she continues her healing journey.
Over the last two years we have been able to visit several children’s homes and ADRA projects. Through the generosity of our donors, we have been able to supply washing machines, repair vehicles and generally help meet at least a few needs.
Between now and Christmas of 2025 we will work our way south along the western side of South America towards Ushuaia, after which we will turn north and explore the eastern half of the continent. Continue to follow our journey day to day via our Facebook or Instagram accounts.
