Well, we hit a speed bump. Just before leaving Ecuador, we both wiped out on a nasty bit of algae covering a remote road in the mountains. Angela ended up fracturing her pelvis, and so we decided to store our motorcycles in northern Peru and return to Canada to allow her to heal.
Angela’s recovery is going well, but she is not quite ready to get back on the bike just yet.
Over the last two years we have been able to visit several children’s homes and ADRA projects. Through the generosity of our donors, we have been able to supply washing machines, repair vehicles, feed children and generally help meet at least a few needs.
Once we get back on the road, we will continue our way south along the western side of South America towards Ushuaia, after which we will turn north and explore the eastern half of the continent. Continue to follow our journey day to day via our Facebook or Instagram accounts.
