We had never seen cotton growing before.  It was so soft, and very drugstore cotton ball-like.  It seems like it&#8217;s late in the year, and yet we passed several fields that had yet to be harvested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Having added to our life experiences, we arrived home and finished off our trip, logging exactly 3000 km.  It was great to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tail of the Dragon and other roads, to visit friends from yesteryear and to just get away for a little road trip.
