Playa Coco<\/strong> – very touristy
Tamarindo<\/strong> – very touristy
La Leona Waterfall tour<\/strong> – great experience
La Fortuna<\/strong>
– North Fields Coffee Tour<\/a> – great experience learning and tasting coffee<\/a>, cacao and sugar cane
– Sloth\u2019s Territory – good tour
– Night tours in this area are overpriced and not great value
Catarata del Toro<\/strong> – nice hike in, beautiful waterfalls<\/a>
Blue Falls of Costa Rica<\/strong> – same location, different hike; best if it hasn\u2019t been raining
Templo Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de Las Mercedes<\/a><\/strong> – unique church worth a short visit
Crocodile Bridge<\/a><\/strong> – good place to look down on crocodiles; crocodile tours in the area are okay, but not fantastic
Crocodile Man Tour<\/a><\/strong> – boat tour up the river to look at crocs and other fauna; we saw some crazy big crocodiles
Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio<\/strong> – great place to walk through; fantastic beaches and lots of wildlife to see
San Isidro De El General<\/strong> – stay with Garry and Evelyn here (listed on Bunk-a-Biker<\/a>); they provide great support to the ADV community
Sierpe<\/strong> – the start of a great ride leading to Drake Bay, including a short ferry ride<\/a>
Golfito<\/strong> – there’s a great little dive shop<\/a> here; Bob does a truly fantastic job of instruction; if you’re looking to learn to dive or get advanced certification, talk to Bob<\/p>\n\n\n
